I bought these particular full spectrum lights because I wanted to put them in my art studio, which doesn't receive a great deal of natural sunlight. That room would normally be used as a great room. The light it does receive comes from a sunken atrium, as the house is a quad, and from the afternoon sun from the West, which doesn't illuminate the whole room. I have several plants in this room, close to the atrium windows but they don't do their best unless I use some form of grow lamps. Most grow lamps have a bluish or even purple tint and that is unacceptable in an art studio. I also have a dimmer switch on my extensive track lighting and I use exclusively LED lights throughout the house. These were the only LED full spectrum lights I could find that were dimmable and I kept my fingers crossed that they would not turn out to be bluish. They turned out to be a beautiful white light that is eminently suited to my studio. I have spread the word among my artist friends and will probably buy several more sets for other places in the studio. I am very pleased! And I think I will also be able to buy more plants :)
